L. Sunita Bai is a Konkani writer from Kerala. Retired as Professor from Cochin University. He has translated many poems, folklore and grammar texts into Malayalam-Hindi and Konkani-Malayalam, Malayalam Konkani. He has written and translated about 15 books on subjects such as proverbs and phonetics. He has been awarded the 2011 Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize.
