Samratacho sood ani Gadgadyachi mood is a book of Konkani play. The story of this play is based on the gambling played in the various jatras of Goan temples. The play is written in a very humorous language which is very entertaining.

A young lawyer falls prey to alcohol addiction. After losing his control sanad, he becomes penurious. His wife who has rich relatives is coaxed to leave him but she adamantly refuses to leave and does all menial work to survive. Finally in a fit of excess drink she is killed by her husband.
